Marina Aris is a native New Yorker and author of Running Into The Night, A Memoir scheduled for release summer 2021.
Marina grew up in the care of strangers and in and out of the New York state foster care system. Since 2009 she has advocated for youth in foster care. She has presented at the Columbia University and Hunter College School of Social Work and volunteers at Fostering Change for Children.
Her writing has been published by She Writes Press in the Magic of Memoir Anthology.
She serves as the NYC Authors Guild Ambassador, is the founder of the Brooklyn Writers Co., publisher and publishing strategist at the Brooklyn Writers Press, host of the Publishers Studio Podcast, co-host of Life Lines the Books Podcast and serves on the Board of Pen Parentis, an organization supporting writer-parents.
Marina is also the proud mother of three, a nature-lover, hiker, runner, and dabbler in art and hobby photography.
